Day 79 – March 20th, 2015

Thanks to a Reminder by a fan of the project – Nicole Swenson – I headed over for Free Ice Cream at Gifford’s Ice Cream! For two hours, people lined up around the building – despite it being freezing cold weather for free ice cream. Just as I was leaving – I spotted these two folks taking advantage of the Free Ice Cream – where else but Maine can you find people Snowmobiling to get Free Ice Cream? Here is the video:

Day 77 – March 18th, 2015

One of the things I love about living in this state is the beauty that you can find, sometimes not more than a few yards from a public road. This state is known as Vacationland – and I think spots like this – are why. This is the spot where the Penobscot and the Stillwater river join and head South as the Penobscot. Here is the video:

Day 75 – March 16th, 2015

Chevy and I got out for the photo of the day, during daylight! One of the things I love about the State of Maine – we keep old architecture around. This Church, the Hammond Street Church in Bangor, is an old building. According to their website, 2015 will mark 182 years since this structure was dedicated. Taken at 6 PM – the shadows are just beginning to darken as the much shorter buildings around the Church are already in shadow. Here is the video:
